Network comm for The Land of Make Believe

I still can't hear, but that doesn't seem to hinder my ability to find a job. The manager at the movie theater in the village was looking for a projectionist, and didn't seem to mind that I couldn't hear.

It is my understanding that this... malady is passing for some? Hopefully my hearing will return before I have to start work next week. I would hate to attempt to understand movies without hearing them. It's bad enough they are not in French, but to assume I can hear them, when I can't? Mon dieu. I don't think I can do that.

I like the new colour scheme. I don't know why people are complaining.

The library.

Does anyone know if it has French literature or is it all the Nazi propaganda available in the libraries back home? Also, I was curious if there is a cinema here or no? Preferably showing films not by Joseph Goebbels.

I thought the "Land of Make-Believe" was only something to come from children's imaginations when parents are off doing "grown-up" things?

This scroll, no matter how "informative" it's supposed to be seen, leaves one very important question unanswered. That being, what am I doing here?
