Anybody ready for summer? Well, except for finals of course, but you all know what I mean.

Filtered to Lily Evans

Hey, I know that I haven't really talked to you much except for when all of that animal stuff was going on. But, I was just wondering if you wanted to get together for coffee or lunch sometime?

Filtered to Booker

How are you liking this place so far?

Filtered to Nick

So judging my cooking...you feeling okay? No food poisoning or anything?

Why, do our kidnappers do something special for summer around here?

No, I don't think so anyway. But, I know that with the nice weather and no school, summer is could be fun here.

So how are things going with you? Adapting pretty well?

Fun, right. I don't really do fun, when it concerns the seasons. Or never have before, anyway.

Me? Oh. Well. Okay, I guess. It's all really weird but maybe one day it'll become less weird.

Really? I love the summer months. Good way to take a breather from homework for awhile and just let loose.

I'm sure you'll get used to it. Once you get past all the weirdness, this place is tolerable.

Even while kidnapped, you can let loose? Well, I guess if you can, I tip my hat to you.

They pay you for all that PR?

The kidnappers have nothing to do with our lives here. Besides sending us here and then doing weird things at times. This place is at your free will. You can do lots of things here that you want.

I only get paid for being a secretary at a law firm.

Yeah, the weird things I could do without. Not looking forward to those.

I see. Are you like, one of those super nice people?

Yeah I never look forward to it. I always worry about my son when things start to happen.

Uhhh yeah I'm nice until you get on my bad side than I'm not so nice. But I always like to treat people the way I want to be treated.

You have a son? Here, or...elsewhere?

Wow, okay, then I hope I don't end up on the wrong side!

He's here with me. He just turned one.

It's just my mouth goes crazy when people get on my bad side. But I am mostly a very nice person to get to know.

Oh wow, so a really little guy. That's rough.

That's what they all say, right? Nah, I'm kidding. I'm sure you are.

To be fair and honest he wasn't born here. You see I was brought her from another place. I haven't seen my home in a few years.

Of course I am. But I hate people who fake being nice.

That's still extra rough. Though at least this place is probably...baby-friendly. Even if the castle whatever isn't exactly baby-proofed.

Eh, I don't see the point. Takes too much effort. I am what I am, I don't fake anything.

Its certainly more baby friendly than that last place though. He really does enjoy the castle and going into the city.

It really does, just being yourself is all I really ask for when meeting new people.

I'm glad. Figured that you probably eat take out a lot so thought you could use a nice cooked meal.

So how's your job going? Get any cases yet?

Nah. I have to sit on desk duty for 2 weeks before they'll let me actually get out and do something. Part of it is so that I have time to get re-qualified to carry a gun again and they have time to get me an unmarked vehicle, and the other part is probably just to make sure I'm not secretly psycho. It's fine, though. It's been almost a week already, so not too much longer until I can stop with the paperwork.

Well, hey then you're half way there. I do sympathize with you because desk work can get really boring at times. But hey sometimes you have to do the boring work to get to the good stuff. Secretly a psycho huh? Do I have to be worried about being your friend and everything? Kidding by the way I don't think your a psycho.

I should hope so. But I'm not worried. I've seen things in this place and the last place I was in that I didn't even think I would get to experience. And I've seen my fair share of psychos, the guy that almost killed me back home was indeed a psycho.

Can't complain I guess. Still getting used to the size, of people and the actual place itself. I've dealt with worse.

I'm glad to hear that. This place isn't so bad once you get used to it and everything. So are we bigger than you expected or what about the size of people?

I've never seen a city so big, which is saying something, because I'm from New York. It's like trying to cram a fourth of America's population into it's palm. The castle makes it seem like a quaint amount of people, but the city is definitely more full.

I always think of New Creandi as a New York type of place. Is it not? I will say that it's a lot bigger then the place I was at before. I've only been to New York once years ago when I was back home. But yeah, it can get crowded because of all the people. But it's nice to get to know some of the people.

I'm going to take this guess out on a whim, and mostly because the newspaper dates are way off, but the New York I'm familiar with--the one from 1907? Not that big.

A lot more simple. There weren't a bunch of vehicles, or digital/electrical things going on. I wanna say cleaner, but in what context, I'm not exactly sure.
