So, the most random thing happened today. I was in the shop Lily worked at and the shop owner asked me if I was Lily's brother since I'd been in there a lot when she worked there and when I said yeah, he asked me if I'd want to take her position since he knew I'm a Quidditch fan and I guess they're short staffed and haven't been able to find anyone to replace her.

The point of this is that eight months after arriving, James Sirius Potter has finally gotten himself a job.

Happy Birthday, dad.

I wish he were actually here so I could actually say it to him. And I wish Al weren't sick and that Lily was still here so the three of us could do something at least. Wish mum was here too. This place was a nice holiday away from everyone at first, but now I'm starting to miss everyone. It'd be nice if Hugo or Fred showed up.

Spending the day with mini Reg. Any of you kids wanna see him, we'll be outside.

I got a terrible papercut on a cardboard box in the store room. Awful. There was blood everywhere, it was disgusting. And it hurts like you wouldn't believe. At least I'm bandaged up and the boss gave me the morning off tomorrow.

Okay children. I've had about as much of this as I can be bothered with. I am calling a meeting in the Gryffindor war-room (Aka. my rooms - I'll say sorry to Benjy.) to discuss the snake removal/redecoration.

For starters, I'm thinking a lot of time and work went into those snakes. So maybe they should stay up. I think they'd look absolutely gorgeous with a few accessories, though. And the hissing makes people uncomfortable. That should be changed. Applause when we walk past, anyone?

This castle needs hidden passageways. Or else I need to be looking harder although now that I'm not exhausted all the time, I might find some. It's amazing how different things look when you get seven hours sleep every night instead of two at the most. If there aren't any hidden passageways, I'm happy to get started on making some. If people want to pay me to find/make secret passageways, I would be very happy for that to happen.

Also, I want butterbeer.

Work is really slow. It's great, but slow. There are too many things I want to buy, and not enough money.

I hope that I've been polite to the people who work here in the castle. Maybe if I'd shown how much I appreciate them more, then they wouldn't have been as upset.

[Filtered to all Witches and Wizards (mostly the HP universe, but she's not picky)]
I'm a fast learner, and pretty good with charms. Can someone teach me some cooking spells or charms or something? I want to be of more help around here. I've got work during the workday, but I can show up before or after, or maybe even during lunch?
