Ariadne has been send home.

I'm between projects right now and a bit stuck as far as inspiration goes. So I'm bored and lacking inspiration. Anyone have any suggestions of books to read, movies to see, or something? I really need something to do.

I went round to see if Harry wanted to go for a fly and well... I reckon he's been sent home.

This happens way too often around here.

I've about finished unpacking. There are still a lot of open areas because I've yet to get something to clutter them up with, but it's nice in that sense. It's organized, neat. But it also means it's the best time to have people over before it gets cluttered.

I was thinking that it would be good to have a belated housewarming/early Halloween party this Saturday starting at 7 pm, tentatively. (If anything weird happens on Halloween, this way there's a dose of fun ahead of time anyhow.) I'll have pizza, soda, some sweets and other stuff. Bring your own beverage if you want alcoholic (and are old enough to drink it - no underage drinking will be allowed.) Costumes are optional, but encouraged.

Consider this an open invite to all castle and former castle residents, but RSVP required so I know what to plan for as far as guests go. I've got enough room that I don't think it should be an issue.

Well...today at school was certainly...explosive with toliet humor. I don't think I've seen any principal or faculty member turn that shade before.

I have two questions.

First, James, what was the purpose of the moving staircases? There was no discernible pattern to their movement.

Second, Araidne, how did you know we were in a dream?

I think I've thrown up most of my vital organs.

Never go for a drink with Evans. She's a terrible influence. Godric knows how she ever made Head Girl.

Hangover cures. Good ones that don't involve us losing potions down the bog. Go.

Tomorrow, the lease kicks in and I can move into my apartment. I figure after about a few days to unpack and settle in, a few people will owe me visits. Unless people want to volunteer to help me carry boxes from my studio to the apartment.

Right. I love Quidditch as much as anyone. Probably more. But I hate working in that shop. I think its having a negative effect on me.

How shall we fix that, people?

So. I'm new.

There's a new person at work who, unfortunately, doesn't quite seem to have a good grasp on the idea of praxis in architecture. In layman's terms, knowing how to put theory into practice. They're great with representation work, doing the sketches. There's a detail missing between.

Occasionally, I can't help but think back to my professors in school and wonder how they had such patience. I know, everyone slips up occasionally. There are just occasional moments when it's surprising to realize the specific benefits you have because of the people who influenced you.

So, just so people know, Lily and Sirius both got sent home this week.

That's it. Yet another depressing Castle Population Update.

I think I want to do something craft-like, but not necessarily art-like, today. Anyone, or any pairs of people, have a desire to do an activity along those lines? If not, I can start working on Christmas gifts three months early.

I'm totally not designed for mornings. I had a little kip in the storeroom today.

I think there's probably just a lack of things blowing up and turning people amusing shades of purple in that shop.

James and Sirius, this isn't funny anymore! I don't know what you two have done, but it's not funny! SEND ME BACK RIGHT NOW! Yes, it's a clever prank and yes, I've finally figured out how to work this thing you left here for me to talk to you guys with. Who are all those other people showing up on it?

Anyways, I'm sick of it and I've got classwork to do! Why didn't you test it out on someone else besides me? You normally use Peter, or go and pick on Snape.
