Look how time flies. I've been here exactly one year today.

If I have a celebratory party this coming Sunday, do you think I could also include celebrating I've recently risen from the grave - or would that be sacrilege?

So...I didn't get the job. But I did get a promotion.

I know I pretty much live there already and help run things, but I shouldn't have gotten so eager to have Charlie's old job. But hey, on top of my usual labrat duties I'm now also an Administrative Assistant. I think that's a fancier title they just decided to give me since I already maintain communication between departments and manage the reports.

But hey, it's something.

As I arrived here without my tricorder, I cannot help but wonder if there is something in this place that would work as an acceptable substitute.

Also, I wonder if there would be a lab available to do experiments on the various flora and fauna that may be found here, and to analyze soil samples in an attempt to discover more about this place where we find ourselves.
