If anyone has any wood suitable for torches, I'd be happy to provide light in some of the corridor and stairway sconces.

This offer naturally extends to anyone needing fire who doesn't have firelighting facilities or would simply prefer not to have to resort to rubbing sticks together. Just let me know.

It appears the power is off for who knows how long. For the time being we'll have to make do cooking over a fire in the fireplaces.

There's a rather large fireplace in the dining hall we can use. I grew up on camping trips with my parents so I'm pretty good at cooking that way. Is there anyone else who can help?

ETA: We also need help moving the perishable foods down to the dungeons. It might be colder than comfortable but it's not cold enough to safely keep food.

I know you know how to cook over a campfire. You're helping.

I saw that you said you knew how to cook, would you be willing to help?

Sudden thought, everyone.

If the power's not back on soon we'll all be going dark before long. Might it not be an idea to arrange group meetings or something, you know, just to keep everyone in touch. Say 11am every day until we're back in business.

Actually, might it not be an idea to arrange to sleep in groups? For safety, I mean. Some of us are alone in our rooms and with no phones it wouldn't be easy to call for help if it's needed.

Just a thought. Maybe.

My phone is dying losing battery.

I don't want to be in my rooms anymore. The memory just hurts.

This is Prime speaking. I'm going to make duplicates to run patrols and, if needed, they can be food runners to people who don't want to come down to the great hall. I can make up to forty before things get messy for me in my mind, how many do we want?

Very filtered away from the children

I have a couple of suggestions.

Should we consider all moving down into the dining room to sleep? It would be easier to heat one large room instead of lots of smaller rooms, and we would know where everyone is. On the downside, it would mean that if the wards are breached, we're all in one place.

I don't like this suggestion at all )
