I'm not trying to piss on anybody's parade here, but prisoners that go on a hunger strike get fed eventually. And I don't know, having a tube shoved down my nose and throat doesn't sound like a real good way to make a point. Not that I don't agree that shit needs to change around here, since we've reached a point where people can just be thrown in solitary for absolute bullshit, but I don't think starving ourselves is the right answer.

i take back every bad thing i've ever said about denver. legalized weed. too fucking good. our motel room is so fucking bad though. 42 bucks a night motels are a terrible idea but at least i'm not paying for it. the bathroom above ours is leaking down though - real fucked up. you have to be real fucked up to deal with shit like that.

so the bartender's telling me the most ordered drink here is a gin and tonic. so now i'm wondering about everyone's usual drinks. i usually stick to irish car bombs, jameson on the rocks, and manhattans myself. whiskey and gin is the way to go.

I'm trying real fucking hard to come up with reasons you should put someone in solitary confinement, especially at a place that's supposed to be helping us train and work together and all that unbelievable bullshit, but short of attacking someone with intent to kill, I got nothing. Not going to class? Not giving a shit about the bullshit team work? Breaking into the pool after hours? Getting jumped? Even if you don't like everybody here -- or Hunter, whatever -- most of you should be able to see how unbelievably fucked up that is. Anyone who thinks that's fair punishment has obviously never been in solitary confinement.

This place is getting more and more like a detention center by the moment, but who cares as long as there's pub nights and Quidditch, right? What a goddamn joke.

This place beats out a fucking detention center, but it's still not exactly the ideal locale for my 20th birthday. I guess it's cool that it's legal to drink here. The bullshit limit kind of cancels that out though.

Anyway, my present to myself was going to be a new paint job for my car but that's obviously out now. Aside from the obvious (freedom, the beach, my sister), that's probably the thing I miss the most. Being able to drive.
