Hey you lot. I've moved rooms so you'll have to go to 6A to find me instead of 2D.

And Jada, I took that quiz you posted and this is what I got:

Now that we're all back, I thought it might be nice for Padraig for us to do something together as a team, since it will be a while before we're all obligated to be in each other's company again. Perhaps dinner? Something simple.

I've downloaded an app that will chime the hour and procured a bag of grapes if anyone wants to join me at midnight. Assuming we aren't all asleep, of course. But 2013 could use some good wishes, I think. (One for each chime, for those of you who aren't familiar.)

It's nice to have traditions that don't rely on champagne and a plus one, I have to say - gives room to observe the passing of the year without having to be particularly 'celebratory'.

I'll also be burning a list of everything awful that's happened this year if I can find enough paper. Superstitious, maybe, but comforting all the same. I don't know if I really believe in expelling all the negative energy, but it can't hurt. Neither can the other half: giving thanks for all the good things that have happened in 2012.

Chief among the positive, I'm grateful to have come to know such incredible people that I never would have met otherwise. There is a lot not to like about the IVF and their institute, but I can't ignore that I would have never gotten to know my classmates, teammates, and friends otherwise.

How was everyone while I was stuck with Lo? All in one piece? Smoking is bad for your health in more than one way.

Do not worry about me suggesting some sort of team building exercise at this point, especially since I am certain we will all be having extra mandatory counseling sessions together. Mainly - jokes aside - I am wanting to make sure everyone is as okay as possible.

I know posts and texts have already addressed that at this point everyone is at least healed or healing, but I felt it necessary to make this one as well to say, in earnest, thank you to each of you. I hate to think of where I would be now were your various expertises not available.

That and if anyone needs anything, I will be more than glad to help as it is the least I can do.

As annoying and prolific as these lists are shaping up to be, I'm a little bit glad we're not the only team that's been targeted. And I think we can put the idea to rest that it was one of us who made up that list!

Myra Moran broke the egg. I don't know what she did to me, but Vi and I were leaving dinner and she had her hands full with my food so I could eat back in our room and then I was solid and I don't know why or how, but she grabbed the egg and ran.
