Tomorrow is Javier's birthday. How do you all feel about surprising him after training with a little party? I could take care of the cake if someone else helps with snacks -- I am thinking about making some of his favorite foods. And maybe we could all give him a card. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Recent events have reminded me of my idea from a few months ago. I want to be prepared for a fight in case anything happens and I know others feel the same way too. Are you all still interested?

I realize it would be impossible to organize some sort of poll, but it would be interesting to know exactly what percentage of the student body agrees with the IVF, Vols Rising, an alternative to the two groups, or are completely apathetic. It seems like there are two small groups interested in the two organizations and everyone else falls somewhere in the middle. Still, it would be interesting to see some concrete numbers.

Hello from Brasil! I hope everyone is having a good break. It's going to be in the 30s here all week, so I do not think there is any chance of me seeing a "white Christmas" this year. I have never actually seen snow, but maybe I will go to Europe or America next break and try to ski. Despite the lack of snow, I'm still very happy to be back. Sam has been carrying on some long term flirtation with a secret admirer via texts for only God knows how long. I am justified in being upset about this, yes? Who could it even be?

I was hoping the three drink ticket rule would be abolished for this trip. They didn't enforce it on the Swan trip. Still, it's just as gorgeous as it was last time.

And of course it's not the same without all of you here. :( But I actually had a question to run by you all! I was thinking about e-mailing Li about additional defense training? Since I do not have a very offensive power and would not like to be vulnerable in a dangerous situation like that ever again. If the rest of you feel similarly, maybe it's something we can work on as a team? If not, then I will ask her about one-on-one training. I just thought I would see how you all first.

Has anyone spoken to Benjie or that tr Coralie about what happened yet? I would ask if he is doing better but judging by his rude behavior to Carmela, I will go ahead and assume the answer is no. This is why inter-team dating is such a bad idea, though this doesn't seem as bad as that blow up Magpie had a few months ago. Those two managed to work things out but Didn't Coralie have something to do with that as well?

I don't expect the staff to release any of the sort but it would be interested to see some official statistics on the number of students getting the chip. It seems like the issue splits the school right down the middle but it is hard to tell over the journals. I thought about holding an unofficial poll for my own benefit, but not everyone would answer and it's really such a private decision. Still, it would be nice to see exactly how many people are for/against it.

How on earth did a tramp like Coralie get the top rating for Swan? Not that I care too much about what some child thinks of me, but honestly, surely points should be deducted for numerous venereal diseases.

I am sure you have already received numerous threats about will happen to you if you screw up again but I thought I would say that the pain I would inflict on you is a thousand times worse than anything you could imagine.

Also, I wanted to know if you were still upset with me.

At this rate, I imagine an attempt to break into IVI's forcefield is inevitable. I don't see why they would attack the other schools but leave us alone. [...] But I doubt they will be successful.

I am certain we can all agree that a weekend trip to the beach sounds perfect. I want that almost as much as I want to show Team Ro the rest of the school what we're made of. Especially Team Rooster. ;)

Are we all okay with the buddy system? One person guards the person in possession of the egg at all times. Even at night! I would not put it past one of the many underhanded people at this school to attack someone while they were sleeping. I am willing to assign I think we should discuss who will pair up with who. People with powers that are not very offensive should be paired up with offensive powers, yes? I personally volunteer to guard any of you. I brought several bathing suits with me and I would really like to use them.

Well! What a pleasant surprise. And Australia supposedly has some of the best beaches in the world. :)

I don't know what he did, but I just saw Carter being taken away by guards. I can only assume he's finally landed himself in solitary. I'm going to see if I can find out what happened, but who knows how forthcoming the staff will be with information

It would be so nice if there was a full week without something ridiculous happening here. I am not talking about petty drama, either. It is the idea that someone we know is being hauled off to solitary confinement on what seems to be a weekly basis now. Are we supposed to get used to that? It's exhausting.
