I am writing a paper for one of my independent study classes and it led me to muse on the following. If you do not mind sharing your thoughts on the following, I would appreciate them.
If you had to give up one of your happiest memories in order to achieve something monumental, would you do it?
Likewise, if you could alter one of your worst memories so that it was no longer so awful, would you consider it? How much of your memory affects who you are now? If you gave up some of your memories, would it change who you are significantly, or do you feel inherent character traits would keep you relatively similar to the person you are now?
