Involuntary RPG Journal Entries

For those of you are studying German or French, allow me to offer my tutoring services. Only $5 an hour and you may consider it money very well-spent. In Luxembourg, we are taught in both languages though I admit that my French is much better than my formal German.

Or if you are not interested in paying me, I will accept reciprocal tutoring in the following subjects: Hindi, Math, and American History.

So I suppose I will be the first to say it: having not attended an international school, I am quite unfamiliar with 'school dances' and have not attended a single one. Beyond knowing that I needed to secure a date is somewhat expected, I am not quite sure what else to expect. Are these events normally formal in nature? Is there a certain protocol to follow? Are there traditions that we should be expected to follow? What will be happening at this dance? Or, in lieu of being able to summarise anything for me, a movie suggestion would be fine too.

I do not have much reading to do tonight and I have plenty of time to waste.

I was thinking of doing something different with my hair for next month, but I am unsure of what might look good. Should I cut it short? Or perhaps dye it darker? Or maybe I will not do anything at all.

I just feel like I need some sort of change with the way things, perhaps to signal the start of a brand new year. It certainly can only go up after [...] everything that has occurred. Similarly, there is just something refreshing about starting the year off the right way. After a few weeks delay, I think I can finally muster up the energy to do something new.

I feel very different from how I was last year. I assume all of you feel much of the same.

We know that Mette isn't one for big centre of attention things, but we get so few things to celebrate that I don't want this to pass. Since we don't have class, I'm going to suggest Thursday late afternoon that we do a little get together. What she does want to do is keep testing her power - so I'm suggesting we get together for snacks, drinks and a bunch of lying based games for a couple of hours. Less of a giant focus on her and she still gets to have fun.

My original plans this New Year's Eve were to be celebrating in Luxembourg with champagne and my friends. Instead, I find myself here in a warehouse in Europe, [...] not doing anything resembling that. I think I speak for all of us when I say I would much prefer my original plans over our current reality.

What a year 2012 has been. I cannot say I have experienced anything like it.

Speaking of exes, it is nice to know when you realise that you have moved onto someone much, much better.

If anything, I think IVI has become responsible for making my taste in men [...] much improved. At the very least, my reasons have changed. What use is a man with money and good looks when there is nothing about him that piques and keeps my interest? Which is not to say that money is not nice to have, but I suppose what I am trying to get at is that there are more important things besides a good pedigree and a large bank account.

Also, if someone was insufferable when you were dating them, no matter how much you think they might have matured in the time since you last met, chances are that they will still be insufferable and self-centered. I would rather have good company than a diamond necklace any day. Now, at least.

I will never again take for granted hot drinks from Coffee Lounge with pleasant company. A hot chocolate, a shared plat du jour, and an afternoon with three of my closest friends is something that can never be replaced.

I'm happy to know that all of you are so happy to see that most of us are safe and well. I hope this generally good mood stays.

I cannot say I have ever really dealt with a zombie before this weekend but I do not think I will ever watch a zombie movie. No 28 Days Later, no Shaun of the Dead, nothing! I lived through it and that is more than enough for me.

Why does it matter if someone is saving it for marriage? Why are we making people feel bad about that sort of decision? It does not matter if someone sleeps with a lot of people or none at all. It is their choice.

I still think hygiene is a more important factor than something like accessibility or experience.

In other news, Prince Guillame of Luxembourg is getting married this weekend and I will be missing any live broadcast or parties because of being here. It is going to be the biggest gathering of royalty since Princess Estelle was baptized. Forgive me if I seem a little too bitter to be concerned over some prepubescent's shower picture. Aren't there laws against that?

If they really wanted to test us, what they should have done is held the lockdown drill during pub night. Now that I would want to see.

I do not understand why 'accessibility' and 'experience' are 2/3 of the score. This seems very unbalanced to me.

If you are going to judge us, at least keep it focused on something like fashion sense or wealth sexiness or hygiene.

Hello. Teach me how to be well-liked.

Well, my evening looks remarkably free no thanks to Little Miss Internet. Was I not intriguing enough? Is there something wrong with my approach?. I suppose I could sit here and twiddle my thumbs until something exciting happens, or I could go about making it myself. Unfortunately, I find myself fresh out of ideas.

So what do you do for fun? If I were home, I would most likely be watching the television with my parents making fun of Mattéo for being covered in grease in the garage helping Emma clean [...] in a café with friends or going shopping. But here, I find myself reading or taking more walks. It is not as beautiful as home, but it will have to do.

I hope no one is too glum about the ending results of this tournament. I know some of you must be, considering that I feel like I'm going to vomit my lunch. I will not say anything too trite such as we're all winners on the inside, but I think losing with grace is the best way to go about things, yes? Like everyone has said, the end of the tournament means we can all relax and not be frightened of who is waiting around the corner.

You know how I plan on celebrating this newfound peace? I think I will make myself coffee, finish reading my book, and maybe paint my nails, all without someone throwing blood at me, blinding me, or growling at me.

I had such a good time at last night's pub night that I nearly forgot about all of this silly egg business. A holiday to the shore is lovely, yes, but the idea of breaking an egg all over some poor someone and yourself is not my ideal way to do it! Though I hear egg yolk facials do wonders for one's skin and make a lovely mask to condition your hair, so perhaps that might be a good improvisation for next time! I myself use SK-II's facial treatment essence to keep my skin glowing and I wager that probably works a bit better than some homemade egg mask.

But back to pub night! I do love taking the time to dress up and make sure I look my utter best. Someone once told me that you never know who you might meet and where, so it is important to look as good as possible at all times. ♥ Is there anything special that you do for pub night? A special drink you must have every time, or perhaps an extra step in getting ready? A little weekly tradition? That 'you' is addressed to everyone, by the by!
