Hey guys and gals. While I'm sure you guys have all sorted out your holiday plans, if you haven't - or if you want to - my parents have said that I can have any one come visit and they'll put them up in the hotel. And my dad has a lot of frequent flyer points, so we can arrange flights for anyone who needs them as well. Just let me know.

Otherwise - and okay, I know I'll see you guys before we all leave, but I do hope you all have a great break and enjoy whatever holiday you celebrate. I'll definitely miss you while we're all gone.

I don't know how people regularly stay up all night, it's exhausting. Even though I have been inhaling coffee since the kitchen opened.

So I made the mistake of emailing a few friends from home to catch up on what I've missed using my school email address. While most of the responses were fine, one of them roughly translates as "Don't ever email me again, I never would have touched you if I knew you were a mutant freak."

People really can be charming. I'm currently considering some sort of flippant response, anyone have any clever remarks I can throw their way?

So, French and I have gotten off to a pretty bad start, and it's been going rapidly downhill. Anyone capable of helping a guy out?

So I got the biggest guilt trip from my mother for not going to church since I've been here. Apparently having objections to organised religion isn't a good enough excuse.

Though in other news from home, my little sister got her belly button pierced and is desperately trying to hide it from my parents while it heals. Can anyone explain to me the appeal of piercings? I'm not sure I really understand it.

People keep mentioning going home for Christmas - did they actually say they were going to let us go home, or are people just hopeful?

Does anyone else have the feeling that anything could happen to us in here, and the rest of the world will either a) not care, b) not know until too late or c) not be able to do anything anyway thanks to the force field?

So, a head's up and apologies in advance - I'm joining Daisy's strike or protest or whatever it is in regards to Hunter's punishment, so I won't be at training tomorrow. I'm sorry if this gets taken out on you, but I just think the whole thing is pretty unfair.

And I fuck it it's on my file I guess I'm not just doing it because of Hunter. I know how much it sucks being in solitary confinement, since I was the "guest" of my government for several months after I registered as a Vol. The only people I saw were my guards and my "trainers", I wasn't allowed to contact my friends or family or anything.

So the fact that they're using it as punishment for some pretty minor infractions is basically bullshit. It's inhumane, and I get that that's their rules and whatever, but I didn't ask to be here and I didn't agree to follow their bullshit rules.

So. Yeah. Sorry.

So Pub Night is going to be a regular thing. I guess everyone will have to stock up on their hangover cures.

Presuming anyone gets a hangover after three drinks.
