This is a most confusing season. I hear many of you talking about these holidays, and while it frustrates me to not understand, I have done my best to piece it together.

So far as I can tell... this day celebrates the birth of a great warrior called Christ, who was so powerful and fierce that even death could not conquer him. He apparently had help from his teammates such as Saint Nicholas (who operated under the code-name of 'Santa Claus'), who's expertise in stealth allowed him to effortlessly enter the homes of mortals, leaving gifts for children and destroying Christ's enemies with his army of magical reindeer.

I believe there are also members of this team including an immortal man made of snow who regenerates every winter, but I have not sussed out the details of them yet.

It has been a long time indeed since I last placed anything upon the network with this communicator. I dare say I have missed a few of you.

My Cosima has reminded me that I told her I would attempt to be more social. So consider this post an attempt at speaking to people.

I feel that all this time with my beloved Cosima has allowed me to learn more about human behavior, and relating more to Midgardians.

For instance, just the other day, a man made a rather inappropriate comment about what Cosima was wearing, and rather than choke him with his own innards as an example to any others who may have considered adding something, I merely snapped his arm like a twig.

Sadly, when the cherubs vanished, so did the remains of the one I struck down. I rather liked having the head of one of them dangling from my sword to frighten off the others.

One of our resident vampires has been a royal pain in our asses has asked Lauren and I repeatedly to update the synthetic blood 'recipe' so that it "tastes better". Despite the fact that she's the only one that's complained about it.

So, we're sending out a new batch labelled 'New Blood'. As always, Death & Taxes will provide this to the vampire community free of charge.

So, there's this American thing called Halloween. It's this crazy thing. People dress up as things that scare them or what they think other people will find scary.

We should go out. I want you to experience this.

I feel we are being lazy, just waiting around here for the next time Thanos or some other force attacks us.

We should be forming an army of some sort. A defensive force. We have warriors here. And skilled pilots. There is literally no reason we should not be preparing to properly defend ourselves.

While I understand that everyone is attempting to keep in high spirits here, but we must also remain more vigilant than ever in our defense of Knowhere.

With all these new arrivals, the energy levels have got to be at a high point, meaning that it will be easier than ever for beings who want the Reality Gem to find us.

I don't believe many of you fancy being unprepared for another battle with Thanos anytime soon.
