Decided to re-read the Harry Potter books and the Song of Ice and Fire books recently, for the first time in a few years.

Suddenly I want to track down every single person from either series who's here and hug them.

It's no big secret that I'm a total bookworm, and that even today I spend more time reading than I do just about anything else. But I just got done binge-watching that Universal Idol show from right before I got here... WOW! So many talented people here!

I've literally been sitting here for an hour now looking up everything I could find on my favorites and when/if they might be putting more music out.

Cory came home with a note about making a Valentine's Day box for school. What do those look like these days? I haven't made one since the 1950's and I want to make sure I help him do it right.

Now that I've had a few days to get acclimated to this strange place, I want to introduce myself.

I'm Clarice. I'm come here by way of Chicago and I'm currently 8 months pregnant with my first child. My girlfriend and I have settled in this place's version of our home town. I'm still not sure what to make of all of this.

I want to give a special shoutout to Dr. Robbins for seeing me as soon as I got here. The journey here was not kind to me but thankfully my boy is alright.

I seriously don't think the novelty of being here will ever wear off. Getting to meet so many people I grew up thinking were just made-up... I'm still as giddy as a kid on Christmas morning.
