Who feels like going out tonight? There's a new club open and tonight is LGBTQIA night. I thought it would be fun to go celebrate.
At first Nomi hadn't thought much of Susie not joining them for breakfast that day. After all, teenagers weren't notoriously well known for being early risers. But the moment she'd seen Neets' message, a wave of cold fear had washed through her. Susie may not have been their child, but she and Amenita cared about them so much. Nomi immediately went into panic mode when she realized they weren't at home sleeping as she'd thought. She pulled out her laptop and immediately began tracking the signal on Susie's comm device. Nothing. Nomi's jaw tensed and she let out a growl of frustration. She hated that god damn reality gem and the ability it had to rip people she cared about away from her. Sitting at a table in the back of a coffee shop, her computer still humming in front of her, Nomi dropped her head down, blonde hair obscuring her face, and tried to blink back a few tears. "Get it together, Nomes." She ordered herself. |
