He said yes! The love of my life said yes!
So I know that it's been a few weeks since I said it on our date, but I was wondering if you'd be up for a dinner made by me this weekend?
So on my blind date a few weeks ago, I offered to make my date a nice dinner because she comes from of those apocalypse worlds, and isn't exactly familiar with a home-cooked meal. So would I be able to have her over on Saturday and do you think some sort of pasta would suffice?
At first Nomi hadn't thought much of Susie not joining them for breakfast that day. After all, teenagers weren't notoriously well known for being early risers. But the moment she'd seen Neets' message, a wave of cold fear had washed through her. Susie may not have been their child, but she and Amenita cared about them so much. Nomi immediately went into panic mode when she realized they weren't at home sleeping as she'd thought. She pulled out her laptop and immediately began tracking the signal on Susie's comm device. Nothing. Nomi's jaw tensed and she let out a growl of frustration. She hated that god damn reality gem and the ability it had to rip people she cared about away from her. Sitting at a table in the back of a coffee shop, her computer still humming in front of her, Nomi dropped her head down, blonde hair obscuring her face, and tried to blink back a few tears. "Get it together, Nomes." She ordered herself. |
