I'm growing more and more adjusted to being here as of late.

Being a part of the military here, as well as being asked to join the Grand Council of Galador, has been an educational and humbling experience.

I'm grateful to be with my son, Shinji, as well. I hate knowing he's from a world where I was less than a good father to him, but hopefully this version of me can make that up to him.

I do miss my Yui though.

This is... a lot to process. And I'll do that later. For right now, all I care about is the fact that I see my son's name on the register.

I've been doing a lot of soul-searching since arriving here. Finding a Christian church here really warmed my heart and made me feel a lot more at home.

I was in a rut at home. Just pining over my ex and obsessing over whether or not to get back together with her... maybe this was God's way of taking me out of a self-destructive situation and putting me somewhere new to start over?

I know people roll their eyes at the strength of my faith, but I truly believe this.

So, now's the part where I start putting my focus back where it belongs: on my music and on finding someone who will actually appreciate what they have in me.

I think I'm starting to get used to being here. All I need to do is find a way to get Kord Industries started here and I'd say I'm home.

I'm kinda having a real conundrum here.

There's a part of me that wants to go have some drinks at one of the clubs here, just to take in the sights and enjoy the music... but there's the other part of me that doesn't wanna be "the old guy in the club".

I would absolutely be the old guy in the club, wouldn't I.

You know...once you get used to it...this place is pretty nice.

So, as grateful as I am to be here rather than dead you know, and I'm glad Asuka and Shinji are here with me, but just what in the hell am I supposed to do here? I don't know what to do with this amount of downtime.

Somebody better give me some straight answers and tell me where the jigoku I am or I'll...I'll do something bad! This space stuff makes no sense! I should be dead!
