Who: Cosima and Lauren, OTA and multiple threads

While they came from completely different universes (one in which clones existed and the other in which supernatural creatures called Fae secretly lived alongside humans), Cosima and Lauren discovered that they had quite a bit in common. They were both scientifically minded, highly intelligent women who happened to meet a few days after Cosima had arrived on Knowhere. Cosima had been told that the other woman's specialization was in genetics, and just her luck, she needed a geneticists help for her family's malady.
As, while Castiel had
healed her, she still needed a cure for others when she got home (if she ever got home).
Right now, however, both women were off the clock, drinking coffee and generally getting to know each other. Cosima was more of a free spirit than Lauren, as was evidenced by the end of her story: "...Well, I told her that I was gonna get her high one day. We found a helium tank in the lab and I honestly can't even tell you how long we were making chipmunk voices at each other." She laughed, as despite how sick she'd been at the time, that was one of her fondest memories.
"You're kidding," Lauren replied, before scrunching up her face and shaking her head, "of course you're not kidding." Why didn't that surprise her? She laughed. "I should add that to my bucket list."
