I gotta say... no disrespect at all to the amazing singers on the show, but I'm not feeling a 'connection' to anyone on Idol this season. Last season, I was damn near obsessed with Penny St. Claire, and loved SoBo Wilson and Enid almost as much.

I'm enjoying everyone this year, but... none of them are grabbing my heart like those three did.

I never thought I'd be excited about a damn reality show finale. But I am wicked excited for this Idol finale.

I've been such a huge fan of Penny St. Claire since her first performance, and she's so talented and sexy and wonderful... seeing her get to the finals actually made me a little teary-eyed.

She's so amazing, and such a great person... she deserves this. Hell, I need it, too. I'm a little down on myself right now, and this gives me something to be happy about.

I never thought I'd be lucky enough to have a daughter. But we do. I couldn't be happier.

At first, I was worried about my abilities as a parent, but she's made it so easy. Thank you, Ellie.

I'm still covering Dr. Zoe Hart's practice and filling in when I can at DRH. In ways I miss having my own Clinic, but I wouldn't change things for the world. I work in a state-of-the-art facility, and work with cutting edge Professionals. My specialty is infertility.

I've been trying to stay positive and upbeat during all this (admittedly, with a pet Jason, it's been a little easier), but I'm having a bit of a rough day today. I feel like being my friend is a death sentence or something.

Barb became my best friend, and my assistant, and I loved her SO much. And then she got poofed out of here, even though supposedly that's not supposed to happen anymore.

Then our mutual friend Nancy and I got closer, and she became my new assistant. And now... dammit... Nancy lost her life trying her best to fight off those nasty-ass parasites that were falling off the creature that attacked my kingdom.

I know Nancy didn't have a lot of close friends here. She was quiet at times, and preferred to observe people before just letting them in. And now she'll never get to, and it makes me want to rage and throw shit.
