I need volunteers for some beauty product testers, if anyone here is interested. I'm looking for females and males, with a wide variety of ages and skin types.

I can't pay you in cash currently, but you can keep all the products I'll give to you for testing. I just need you to use the product for one to two weeks and then report back to me with your thoughts and reactions.

All products are made with natural ingredients and won't be harmful to you in any way. I've tested them all on myself to ensure this. Please let me know if you'd be willing to spare some time to help me.

I do hope you still find it endearing when I get so sidetracked by science and knowledge that I forget myself and my better manners. I've been spending much of my time working on a translation algorithm for a language that should be adaptable to our Omni-tools and trying to understand the wide array of Earth cultures and customs that had slipped my grasp when we were a bit too busy running around the saving the galaxy.

I have decided that tonight, I shall not be working, if you would like to make some time?

I am sorry this has taken so long but, if you wouldn't mind? I may have developed a means by which I am able to better understand what it is you are saying. Naturally, without a suitable field test, the hypothesis and data are purely hypothetical, but I would greatly appreciate the chance to test my findings if you would be so kind as to afford me the opportunity?

You know, no matter how little of this ship and place I might have seen, I do so find it fascinating. I really must do better about not getting so lost in my studies that I mistake that which is right in front of me.

I read the material and I get what it's saying, but I'm still having a hard time wrapping my mind around this and the sudden influx of new voices I'm having to block out of my mind.

There are just people vampires who are going to be mighty unhappy that I'm missing. I'm worried about them blaming the wrong people for it.

I am not used to allowing emotions to dictate my behaviour... but I have this sudden need to destroy things.

Okay, so we can get work here, right? Because I think that's something I should look into.

While there had been some injuries, some close calls, and, if we're being honest, more than a few real scares... the heroes had managed to fight back the wave of Badoon invaders. Yet.. their primary ship remained. The ship that carried The Mad Titan and some of his deadlier weapons. And that now... also carried Six as his prisoner.

Rocket led the pilots that had battled the alien fleet back into the hangar, then quickly made his way to the park, where everyone was reuniting to plan the end of this: how to get rid of that final ship.

Running around with an adorably happy look on his face, Rocket kept glancing around, wondering where Six was... he'd seen her out there with Angela, but now? Nothing.

Admittedly growing more concerned, he quickly scampered over to his longtime pal Groot. Looking up at the hulking tree creature, the furry little hero gave wide, worried eyes as he asked: "Groot... where is she? Where's Six?"

Groot gave a sorrowful grunt, stooping down to comfortingly stroke Rocket's head as he mournfully said, "I... am GROOT."

Rocket backed up, a terrified yet completely unstable look in his eyes. "Captured? Whaddaya mean captured??? Since when do those krutacks take prisoners without some kinda provocation?"

Groot gave his friend a sympathetic, worried look and sighed. "I am Groot."

"THANOS???" Rocket exclaimed, slapping himself in the forehead. "Thanos is behind this? And he took her? FLARKIN' HELL!" Ohhhh yeah. Rocket? Was moments from a total mental meltdown. "That's it. Flark all you krutackers. I'm goin' after my girl."

Groot blocked his path quickly, trying to look out for his pal. "I am Groot!"

"I don't care how dangerous it is to go alone!" Rocket yelled, completely in a panic now. "I promised her I wouldn't let anything happen to her! And now that big purple bastard has her! NONE of this would've happened if you gronads had killed him years ago. NONE OF IT!"

You know... it kind of occurred to me that we've had a lot of shifts in the refugee roster lately. Lot of folks gone, lot of new ones popping up... maybe it's time to have a mixer or something, so everyone can get to know each other.

Ok, and maybe (just maybe!) this is partially an excuse for me to get Jessica Jones hilariously drunk. DON'T JUDGE. This girl doesn't just get a little tipsy. We're talking full-fledged, fall-on-your-ass, do-stupid-things, utterly Chocolate Wasted.

(For the record? Giving us that term is the only good thing that's ever come of letting Adam Sandler be in movies)

Seriously though, folks. Let's all get to know each other. I mean, we're in the enviable position of having Jessica, Rocket, Peter Quill, Wade Wilson, and Tony Stark all in the same place at the same time. We'd be failing at life if we didn't get some entertainment out of this.

While most people were transported on-board Knowhere on relatively calm, albeit confusing circumstances, Shepard? Was transported while in the middle of a firefight, along with quite a few of her enemies. Marauders, Cannibals and worst of all, a Banshee. Under heavy attack, she didn't register her change in scenery at first and called out to one of her squadmates: "Javik, I need some cover fire!" She bolted toward the nearest cover that she could find and took shelter behind it.

She winced at the sound of the Banshee's wail, and looked around, frowning as she not only didn't recognize where she was, but only heard the blast of weapons from her enemies. "Javik! Liara! I could use a little help here!"
