Since Christmas so much has happened. I have been crazy busy and I only just realized that my 21st birthday is next month! Where did the time go since I got here to this place? The farm is booming. I love working there, running it. Life here is pretty good actually.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I spent the entire invasion hiding in my room because I knew I'd just get in the way of people who knew how to fight. I didn't even feel this helpless at home Maybe I should change that since this is my home now.

YAY!! I am so happy that I got a part in Bye Bye Birdie. I don't know but I think this acting and singing thing is really going somewhere for me. I love it, and of course I will still be doing my fitness classes at my studio but my schedule will change just a tad bit. Also, the snow is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to see my daughter for Christmas.

It was a good run that I had on Idol. I know that I didn't win or even make the top two, but I still had fun and will try again next year. In the meantime, my life is getting a bit busy. Next Monday will be the auditions for Bye Bye Birdie at the Chicago theater. So if you are interested please let me know what character you will be trying out for and please come prepared with a monologue and also a solo that you will sing. I can't wait to hear what you all have. I am so excited about putting on this show.

We're having a BBQ tonight for each of you and showing some movies. We're showing both versions of Mulan. Come to the Quad at five.

Hey everyone. I'm Alex. Don't take it personally if I freak the eff out when I first meet some of you.

My birthday is this Saturday. And also a Pride celebration. I will be holding it at my home, Thorn Mansion, from 6 to midnight. Music, cake, snacks, refreshments, booze, dancing, etc. So mark the calendars - the party is set on June 6th, 6pm. We will also have a taxi service for any who need a ride home, for those who drink too much. Or you can spend the night, there's plenty of spare rooms. Anyone may come.

Any of you are welcome too, if you want to have some "fun" with me. Or each other. Or both. There's already a room in the manor set up full of beds and a minibar. Plenty of space for us. So.. we'll have my birthday celebrations on this day. But after that? OUR fun - our party, the real party, will begin at midnight.

Now that I'm settled in, got Amy all settled in, and have let the novelty of being here wear off some, it's starting to hit me:
