I've been living on my own for just shy a year now and I'm still not use to how quiet it can get here.

Gotta love the conversation I had with Peter Quill yesterday at the Mos Eisley Cantina:

Quill: "Alright, Sammy-Boy. I guess you're wondering why I asked you to come here."

Me: "Honestly, Star-Lord, sir... I have no idea."

Quill: "You just turned 18! Time to take you out for drinks like a man!"

Me: ".....Mr. Quill? That's 21. I'm not old enough to legally drink yet."

Quill: "Wait. Seriously?"

Me: "Yep."

Quill: "................well shit."

I flarkin' did it!!!

I've been trying to crack how to get into a hydro engine for an Atlantean transport ship without having to completely separate the engine from the hull (thus breaking the seal) for two d'ast months now, and I finally did it.

Sometimes I wish I could give my brain a big flarkin' kiss.

That was a battle to remember. I'm grateful to those who saved the planet. As to the ones in the cities. Like Chicago for example. Like the jerks who dared go near my places.. damn, that was a lot of bodies. But I fucking told those Stormtroopers and Imperial assholes, I told them, "Hey, don't get any closer to my club or you die." Same for my house. Well.. they learned too late, I'm a man of my word.

But. In spite of that victory, there's a loss. That damn gem, goddammit! My brother is gone. My.. brother.. is.. gone. Adam Young. Actually, there were two of him, the kid, and the one closer to my age. And now he's gone. FUCK!

Hello, hotties. NYE Party at my place tonight at 10pm until.. well, whenever. There will be snacks, refreshments, drinks, outdoor fireworks, etc. And those of you who came to 'celebrate' at my birthday party at midnight in June? Remember the fun we had? And that you had with each other? Well good news, that can happen again at midnight! And such a great, fun way to start the new year

And given the amount expected to show up, I doubt any of us will have to worry about not having someone to kiss at midnight. Though.. I'm betting we'll be doing a lot more than that around that time, hmm? ;)

To celebrate the holiday season.. drinks will be free for all this week at Temptation. Also note, it will be closed on December 25th. And there will be a holiday bonus check for our workers too. And a raise. :)

EDIT: For any who are new here, Temptation is a LGBT-centered nightclub in Chicago. Age limit is 18 and up, but you need to be 21 to drink, so if you're under that you get a choice of stamp or bracelet.

It is not supposed to snow in New Orleans. We should all have some fun with this while it lasts.
