Happy 4th, everyone!

Now, obviously the 4th of July is a holiday only in America, down on Earth.

BUT! I still have a hug reason to celebrate this date... today is the grand opening of The X-Stream!

That's right, the shop and the skate park are now open right next door to Madhouse Music! Stop in for lots of great deals on boards, equipment, skating lessons, and more!

I know I haven't made too many friends here yet, but anyone feel like doing anything?

I'm feeling so energetic right now, I'm dying to do something!

Someone finessed her way into a business deal to have her own skate shop/skate park in Commerceport and work closely with Madhouse Music?

Alright, folks. I've been here about a week, I've had time to calm myself down and accept this is all real - now it's time to start meeting people and trying to make a life for myself.

Guessing there's no real need for a comic book store in this place, so... my old shop is kinda DOA idea-wise. Is skateboarding a thing here? If so, maybe I can open a skate shop.

Also? Gonna need to start making some new friends. Only got one or two from home here, and I'm way too antsy to not have people to talk to.

I still haven't heard from Wanda.

I know that I'm not necessarily very far into my first semester of college, but I don't really feel like I've actually been learning anything. I just want to build and create more things on my own.

I am witnessing history as it happens and I seriously cannot stop squealing. This is better than anything I could ever see on TV.

Ah, it's good to see that even on another planet, people have no concept of what's appropriate to say to a total stranger.

So, I went to check out Twin Peaks today (can you blame me? Honestly?), and on the tram coming back, some girl I've literally never seen before in my life came up to me, giggling, and told me how "hot" she thinks my dad is.

Ok, awkward much? Still, I could've smiled and ignored it and went about my day.

But then the zinger. She says "You're adopted, right? So wouldn't you agree he's hot?"

WHAT. THE. HECKIN'. HECK.

Dude. Birth, adopted, who cares? That's still my freakin' dad.

If this is what being related to a celebrity is like, I think I miss when he was just a Watcher.
