Just hours away until I'm 18.

Since this will be the first time I'm going to be able to celebrate well... anything, I'm looking for any suggestions for what I'm going to be doing this week.

Ok, I can admit when I'm wrong.

I officially take back any snarky comment I ever made about people who talk about how happy they are dating someone. I've smiled more in the last few days than I have in the last 16 years.

Now that it's spring and I've got a better hold on my ability, I can actually get out there and meet people. All of the pollen and smells of fresh flowers can help people to smell what is actually right there.

The gem took my girl away. Anyone else in the same boat? Because it sucks, really sucks.

How do you come to terms with realizing you are capable of feelings and sexuality, when your entire life up to that point has been defined by pain?

Don't get me wrong, just being from a past timeline told me there were a ton of multiple realities out there... but seeing all these crazy realities represented, where the X-Men are villains, or where Magneto and Apocalypse are heroes... that still catches me pretty off-guard.

The version of the Professor's school that's here is as different as can be from the one in my world.

I hate sounding so weak, but... having a version of Professor Xavier here that's actually kind is kind of nice. He was the closest thing to a father I ever knew, so to have him actually acting a little like one, and not having me torture people, is a good feeling.

Is this what family feels like? If so, I finally get why people fight so hard to protect theirs.
