I was approached today by a man named Eugene Thompson, a former Sergeant in the United States Army. He lost both of his legs fighting in Iraq. For the last few years, he'd been "whole" again by being bonded with what is called a "symbiote", from a world called Klyntar. Recently, the symbiote, for reasons undisclosed, abandoned Sgt. Thompson and he is now once more confined to a wheelchair.

Sgt. Thompson came to me inquiring about the surgery I helped develop that allowed Dr. Robbins to replace the leg she lost in an airplane crash. He is looking to have a double leg replacement done. Now, we would have to do some initial tests first, to make sure that the point of amputation is still viable. But if it is, we could have a truly historic surgery on our hands here.

So, I ask you all... thoughts? Concerns? Opinions? Offers of assistance?

Alright, everyone. I've filtered this to you because each of you has a talent that I need for a major surgery. Also because I trust you with the safety of the woman I hope to spend the rest of my life with.

With Tony and Rocket's help, I've helped design a cybernetic leg to replace the prosthetic Arizona wears.

Mr. Stark and Dr. Lewis to assist me in taking a sample of Arizona's DNA to create a "clone" of her skin.

Myself and Dr. Sloan will use our knowledge of plastics to craft the homemade skin onto the leg's endoskeleton in an exact replication of Arizona's real leg.

Dr. Sloan will then assist me in replacing the bones and socket that the titanium 'bones' of the leg will fit into, with a titanium device that will wire the new leg directly into her body so that it duplicates the function, feeling, and sensations of a real leg.

Finally, Dr. Grey will then assist me in connecting the new leg to the replacement socket, while Dr. Sloan grafts the synthetic skin to her actual skin, which theoretically should look flawless outside of a few potential light scars.

Alright, so... I got here yesterday afternoon, but it took most of yesterday to calm me the hell down. Still having a hard time believing this is real, but... guess I don't really have much of a choice.

Thanks again to my unlikely savior, Miss Sofia Martin. You pretty much stopped me from having a full-blown nervous breakdown yesterday. Once I get situated at the hospital, I'm totally taking you and your girlfriend out for a nice dinner.
