So I'm 18 now. I'm almost finished with high school, too.

I'm also thinking about moving out of Sanctuary, but then it makes me think...

What the hell am I going to do with my life? Should I just go into college undeclared and possibly waste time? I'm not about to waste anyone's money like that. So... is anyone hiring a student who is willing and eager to learn, but isn't the best with people?

Well, things got pretty screwed up for a LOT of us when the purge happened... but at least I've started getting things here at the Clocktower back together.

I've decided to restart the Birds of Prey, but since there's so many other super-teams around, I chose to go with a team I can mold, girls I can help slowly become the heroes they were meant to be.

So, with that in mind, I'd like to proudly annopunce the first three members of the new Birds of Prey: Nebula, Misfit, and Black Vulture.

To anyone who hasn't had a chance to fly in a starship yet? Dooooooo ittttttt.

Seriously. 10/10, would highly recommend. Especially when your pilot is handsome and charming.

"Barbara! Are you in?" Poe called out as he made his way into the clocktower and up to her quarters. He'd long since been given access to her home and tended to drop by unexpectedly on occasion. "I brought some weird food that we could try to eat!" He had bags of exotic foods in each hand, so he might have gone a little overboard in his excitement.

"Well, there's my handsome guy..." Babs called out with an adorably beaming smile as she wheeled herself over to him, looking festive in black nylon leggings and a fluffy green and red Christmas sweater. "What's the occasion?" She asked, noting all the various foods he was carrying.

Well... it's almost time for my surgery. I'm excited, scared, happy, and nervous all at once.

I'm pretty sure I'll be fine. These are some of the best doctors in this or any universe, and the technology at their disposal is mind-boggling.

That said... I'm feeling like maybe I should have a backup plan. Someone to take over my duties in the Watchtower should something go wrong.

Problem is finding someone who could do it. Not trying to brag here, but most folks aren't nearly as skilled with computers as I am.

Sweetie? I set a date. My surgery is going to be next Thursday at Xavier Memorial.

Welp... I did it. I set the date for my surgery. Next Thursday, I'll be having my legs and spine worked on. If it's successful, while I'll still be in the wheelchair, I'll at least have feeling in my entire body. Can I ask a big favor of you all, and request that you take care of things in the tower for about a week while I heal?
