I suppose it is time for me to introduce myself

I am called Exodus. I arrived on this planet shortly before the refugees were brought here. Knowing the persecution and judgement mutants face from many, I made an agreement that allows me to rule over a land I call Providence. Any of my mutant brethren who wish to live among your own kind may take refuge among us, under my supreme protection.

I need to get out more, it seems that all I do is work. But I work so much is because I have nothing to do outside of work. Don't get me wrong, Eliot is amazing as a boss (and not bad to look at either), and I enjoy working for him. The money's good and the tips are amazing.

But something is missing. I'm finally over Eric.I need some romance and friends I can count on when things get tough.

My parents were killed when I was little. I don't remember them very well. Just a feeling of happiness, safety and love. People who knew him told me stories about my dad. He was a great guy, and I wish I had known him longer.

Where I came from I couldn't sleep for fear of being found, killed or taken prisoner. Here I can't sleep because it's too quiet. I wonder when I'll get used to not having to live on edge.
