The magical books in this library are appalling. They seem to either be children's stories or books on how to hope things change. I did find a few interesting tomes of history and such, but I think I've perused everything of value.

This "wicca" concept is truly ridiculous. Crystals and herbs and the moon? What of real power? Are there no examples of how real magic is conducted in this realm?

At least the strange creatures have a good taste in wine. They don't seem to be demons, but other than being an expert mage I don't claim to know everything possible that such creatures can do. I can't sense any sort of possessing spirits, but again, I may not know absolutely everything, just most things.

Is anyone worried about them? Are there plans to take action?

I really like girls. But also.. umm. Fuck I feel compelled to speak of They're not the only ones I like. I also like guys too. I mean, I really like them. I'm physically attracted to them, like in the intimate sense. And this isn't new for me. I've sorta liked males in that way for a long while.

Fuck! Why am I even saying this? Oh shit, now I'll probably be disowned by my family. But I hope not. I mean, when you take into account that some past relatives have actually killed and tortured people, and worked for Wizard Hitler, finding out that I'm bi is hardly the worst thing one can think of.

Well, this is certainly new and exciting. It isn't the Fade, I can tell that much, so I very much doubt I'm dreaming. I suppose it must truly be another world.

The talking dog is a nice touch, a good party trick. If someone were to bottle that and sell it to the Fereldans they would be the richest person in Thedas. Unfortunately I'm far too busy to bother with it, but if anyone wishes to become inordinately wealthy, talking dog spell is surely the way to go.

This device is remarkable. Communication across distance! I've been working on a spell like that myself, but it hasn't come along anywhere near this succinctly. I shall have to examine how it was done and make it better and far more stylish.
