"Mmm, so... if I had my way I don't think that I'd ever leave from right here," Cosima murmured with a purr, from her position in bed with Angela, as she leaned back against the warrior goddesses muscular frame. "I mean, seriously."
"Am I to take it that means you've been.... sufficiently satisfied?" Angela asked her with a rather smug grin, the type that made you practically imagine her buffing her knuckles against her shirt. You know... if she were wearing one. She ran her fingertips across the other woman's body in a manner far more gentle and soft than most would guess her capable of, a tiny purr escaping her as she layed her head back.
Cosima smiled wryly. "Not just sexually, I hope you realize." She traced her fingertips along Angela's forearm. "You're just," she tilted her head back to look Angela in the eyes, and even then she wasn't quite sure how to describe how she felt, "I feel peaceful when I'm with you."
"I admit to not being confident in my ability to satisfy someone emotionally." Angela said, in a moment of raw honesty. "But sexually... yes. I'm extremely confident of my ability there." She smiled though, when Cosima told her how peaceful she felt. It was a sweet visual, actually: Angela with a proud, almost beaming look on her face. Like nothing could hurt her. She hadn't looked so calm and content since long before she had even come to this realm.
Cosima comically shimmied around so she curled against Angela's frame. Then cupped her cheek with her palm. "You're not any easy person to get to know... but I really do want to try. No matter how many walls you want to put up."
"There's the strangest part for me." Angela confided, voice softening as she lay a palm lovingly upon Cosima's cheek. "I feel no NEED to put up any sort of emotional walls or shields with you. You... bring something to me I have always lacked: Compassion. Love. You make me feel like a PERSON, not just... a warrior."
"...Wow. I did that?" Cosima asked with a lazy smile. She held Angela's gaze for a moment, then moved to rest her head on her breast, both for comfort and a want to listen to her heartbeat. "I think you had that in you all along. You just... never had a reason to let it out."
"I am falling in love with you, Cosima." Angela said, hilariously enough as if it were some dangerous thing. "I have not done that many times in my existence, much less so quickly. But the thought of being without you for more than a few hours gives me an anxious feeling I'm not exactly fond of."
Cosima reached for Angela's hand and lightly toyed with her fingers. "Sometimes anxious is a good thing. Anxious and anticipation for seeing the person that you love again... it's an amazing feeling." She paused, then looked into Angela's eyes again. "And I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't falling for you too."
Angela's body was almost a ceremony of opposites. It was at once curvy, soft, and smooth... yet also tense, tight, and coiled, like a serpent in constant preparation to strike, making the tension in those fingers almost like toying with a serious of tightly coiled springs. "As long as I breathe... no harm shall ever come to you again." She said, her way of pledging devotion to the other woman.
Still, Cosima continued to play with Angela's fingers, lightly tracing her fingertips along each one as if to memorize them. "I believe you," she said softly, knowing what Angela's words meant. "I'm yours," she promised. She still missed Delphine, and likely would for some time, but what they had here was very real.
"And... I am yours." Angela told her, the weight behind those simple words apparent by the heart with which she said them. It was almost a form of true commitment there, displayed in the steely, steady gaze in her eyes.
Cosima held her gaze for a moment, then kissed her tenderly on the lips. A playful smirk crossed her features. "Do you like ice cream?" Oh, clearly she had something devious in mind here.
"I... have only experienced it once, but yes, it was quite enjoyable." Oh, what a fucking BIG BALL OF FUN this one was, hm? Ah well. SHE WAS TRYING, PEOPLE. An eyebrow slowly rose as she tried not to smirk. "And... do I want to know why you look so devious right now?"
"Wellll.... I thought that we could take turns licking it off of each others bodies, maybe throw in some chocolate syrup and just about anything else we can think of." Hey, it sounded like fun, okay?
"Well now." Angela grinned, obviously taking a long moment to picture that. "I must say... I like how creative you are."
"I think it could be fun." Okay, she knew it would be, but shh. "But we could always do things that you want to do. Sexual or otherwise."
"Oh... I think I would very much like to do that..." Ok, so she also intended to trib the FUCK out of this woman until she was too exhausted to get out of bed on her own power, but shhh. "But I would like to add the condition that I get to lick every... single... inch of that body."
"It's cute that you'd think I'd be against that," Cosima chuckled, lightly tracing her fingertips along Angela's jawline. This relationship wasn't planned or expected, but damn if it didn't feel just right.
"Well... I know I have a tendency to be a little rough at times." Angela chuckled, knowing that she lost sight of her need to be more gentle with mortals during sexual activity. "I just like to make sure we're always of the same mindset. To avoid an unfortunate injuries."
"I guess I can understand that," Cosima nodded, taking a moment to rest her head on Angela's chest to hear her heartbeat. "I don't think we have to worry."
"You NEVER have to worry. Not as long as I breathe." Angela told her, in a way that wasn't even meant to be romantic. She was merely stating her determination to protect what she now saw as hers. "I will never allow harm to come to you." She said, fingerstips tracing gently across Cosima's cheek.
Cosima smiled at such light and simple contact, even going insofar as to purr a little. "I probably couldn't fight my way out of a wet paper bag," she joked, "but I promise that I won't hurt you. I have no intention to."
"Good. Because my heart is... not something I give easily." Angela explained, continuing to enjoy that light touching. "And after everything recently, that is especially true. But I give it to YOU, Cosima. Fully and completely. It is yours, to hold in your hands. To cherish or to destroy. That is the power you now have over me."
Cosima placed a tiny kiss to Angela's chest, right over her heart. "Then I'll take your heart and warm it with my own," she promised.
"It astounds me, you know."Angela began, holding the woman tighter against her. "How oblivious you are to how remarkable of a woman you are."
Cosima curled one of her legs around Angela's waist and draped a arm across her chest, as if trying to get as physically close to her as she could. "Well, I am good at some things." She nuzzled lightly into Angela's neck. "And, you know, there's the whole clone thing. But for the most part I'm just like everyone else."
"There.... *might* be a small part of me that enjoys the fantasy of two or three Cosimas at the same time." Angela joked(!), looking as though she might actually blush a little. "My beautiful, beautiful love."
Cosima laughed. "We all look the same, but I assure you that we're very different people, so in that way I'm unique." She lightly traced her fingertips along Angela's jawline and tilted her head to one side to kiss her on the lips. "But I'll take the compliment."
"That makes sense to me. Because, clones or not... as far as I'm concerned there could not be anyone else in the world quite like you." Angela told her, actually being almost smooth for once! "Every time I look at you... your beauty astounds me all over again."
"I like seeing this romantic side," Cosima replied softly. She knew that Angela was capable of it, but hadn't seen it much until now.
"I suppose I just think of this side of myself as.... the part you bring out of me." Angela admitted, letting her hands happily roam over Cosima's body. Her touch was light, yet still incredibly possessive. It was easy to imagine Angela utterly destroying anyone who dared to touch Cosima now.
Cosima closed her eyes and enjoyed those feather-light touches, letting out a fluttering moan of content. "I want to see every side of you. Even if you think it might scare me, or even if you feel that it makes you seem foolish."
"I promise you, my love... there will be no part of me that I hide from you." Angela told her, without having to even think about it. "Every part of me is yours. And nobody else's."
Cosima smiled lazily, then peppered sweet little kisses on Angela's neck and chin. "That's me too. All yours," she promised, in far too an affectionate mood now.
