"Hernando! Penelope!" Lito called out as he entered the home that he shared with his boyfriend and their ward (granted, Penelope was 18 now and could do whatever she pleased, but she was still family). "I'm home! With good news!" Which was a far cry from how he'd behaved when Dani, Laura and several members of his cluster had vanished on the same day the previous month. He'd been a dramatic mess on that day and most days since. It was only since Laura Hollis's return that he'd started to come back to himself. The stress of losing his friends and family while taking on more responsibility at Open Arms had taken a serious toll on his mental health. But now? Things were looking up!

Marinette has been brought back by the gem and wants to know if she can stay here again.

I found a cozy little apartment today. It even came with a bed! I used to just use a pull-out futon from the couch back home. Also, Syracuse lost. Darn.

Anywho, now that I've got my pad set up the way I remember home being, I gotta go see if that End Zone place that Ellis mentioned is looking for someone to play music on a regular basis. If so, it'll be a good place to practice my Universal Idol setlist that I think I have to wait a whole-ass year to try for a chance at performing.

Well this certainly wasn't my intended destination, but I suppose I could find myself in worse places.

Will this is most interesting. I surmise that I have some work to do. I shall decide where to begin.

It's almost Halloween. Every year I hope this will be the year the gem brings me my dream man, and evvvvvvery year I get let down. He's got to be real somewhere... and one day I'll meet him and show him he can love again...
