I've been doing a lot better recently. With my grieving, I mean. But today's been rough.

Not even sure why. Today isn't any kind of special day, nor the anniversary of anything. I just had this... horrible feeling of loneliness when I woke this morning, and it hasn't gone away.

It's like all day, I've just been craving the feeling of being held, of someone who loves me reassuring me everything's gonna be alright.

I've been doing a lot of soul-searching since arriving here. Finding a Christian church here really warmed my heart and made me feel a lot more at home.

I was in a rut at home. Just pining over my ex and obsessing over whether or not to get back together with her... maybe this was God's way of taking me out of a self-destructive situation and putting me somewhere new to start over?

I know people roll their eyes at the strength of my faith, but I truly believe this.

So, now's the part where I start putting my focus back where it belongs: on my music and on finding someone who will actually appreciate what they have in me.

Anyone else still having 'what if' feelings since the purge? I don't know how else to describe it. I'm done mourning. I miss Noah, but I'm not gonna spend my life grieving, either. But I still find myself wondering what if.

Would I have made a good wife? A good mother?
Would I have retired early? Focused on family?

I keep wondering those things and it frustrates me.

My Gran is here only she's 18.

All of this is so surreal. She's younger than me. What if she asks how she died? What do I say, all I can say is the truth.

I was pretty blunt.

But she has mannerisms like Gran had so I know it's my Gran, I guess the other Sookie could be her granddaughter, but I don't think so.
