Alright, folks. I've been here about a week, I've had time to calm myself down and accept this is all real - now it's time to start meeting people and trying to make a life for myself.

Guessing there's no real need for a comic book store in this place, so... my old shop is kinda DOA idea-wise. Is skateboarding a thing here? If so, maybe I can open a skate shop.

Also? Gonna need to start making some new friends. Only got one or two from home here, and I'm way too antsy to not have people to talk to.

Hi Gabe! I'm Cassie. Isn't skating the best? I used to have a little skating area built behind my store. I'd go back there every night after closing, put on some Chili Peppers, or Suicidal, or Misfits, and just go to work.

That sounds amazing to have. Skating is definitely the best. There are places to skate here, but there's no good skate shop around, you know?

Exactly! Lotsa good areas to skate in, but try finding good ramps, or some emptied-out inground pools, etc.

So imagine a show where you can buy all your gear, then go behind the store for a fully-fleshed-out skate park?

Yep! I'm gonna see what a person needs to do to get a business loan of some kind here (since I really don't think anyone I know here would have the kinda money to lend me upfront), but if I can do it? Definitely.

Lots of people start businesses here, so there's plenty of people to ask for help if you need it. I'm doing college classes right now, so I have no idea, though.

I think that someone is working on opening an arcade/roller rink. Not sure if it's open yet, though.

I don't have school until 10am. So would 9am work? She did say whenever but I feel like I should still ask.
