I know what I what my specialty to be. I've always known but I wanted to try other things first so I could be well rounded.

This place is different.

I think I could sleep for days.

Alright, so... I got here yesterday afternoon, but it took most of yesterday to calm me the hell down. Still having a hard time believing this is real, but... guess I don't really have much of a choice.

Thanks again to my unlikely savior, Miss Sofia Martin. You pretty much stopped me from having a full-blown nervous breakdown yesterday. Once I get situated at the hospital, I'm totally taking you and your girlfriend out for a nice dinner.

So, I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Dr. Addison Montgomery. I'm an OB/GYN, fetal and neonatal surgeon, and medical geneticist and I'll be working at the hospital here within the next couple of days.

Thank goodness for having Emme here. She's made the adjustment to this place far easier than it would've been otherwise.

So, I should probably introduce myself. I'm Marlene McKinnon. I'm a graduate of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I'm... extremely happy and grateful to be in a place where my life doesn't seem to be in any immediate danger, and I sincerely hope to get to know everyone.

Jamie invited me to have dinner with him, Isabel and Alex tonight.

Forward dated to late Monday afternoon

I'm extremely privileged to announce that Amy Juergens has given birth to a healthy baby. Zander Steven Juergens was born late this morning. He measures 50 cm in length and weighs 6.5 oz. Both mom and baby are sleeping now, but should be ready for visitors by tomorrow. Congrats, Amy! We love you.
