I know it's late, but I can't sleep.

I'm just kinda pissed off, you know? I lay here, and I think about how every time I start to think maybe, just MAYBE, I found The One, I lose them. Whether it be the gem taking them away, the person putting everything before me (sorry, Karo!), or just a wandering eye... I just find myself getting more and more angry. Like... was I a total jackass in my last life or something? Why is karma kicking the crap out of me like this?

Anyone feel like doing anything? Late night bowling, dancing at a club, even just having a coffee somewhere?

I can move around again without pain and I came out of this without an addition to opioids. Time to get back to actually living my life. I think I'll stick around on this planet for a while, though. I like it here.

Ya know... maybe it's all the coffee burning it's way through my system right now. Maybe it's the euphoria of actually seeing the Steelers win for a goddamn change last night. Maybe it's afterglow from all the post-game sex I had with Neely and Morgan. Hell, maybe it's a great big combo of all of the above.

But regardless!

A while back, I made a flip comment to Queen Irinia about Galador being a backwater planet because it doesn't have any sports. Her reply (I still can't believe she didn't call me a fucking bitch) was that if it's that important to me, maybe I should start a sports league of my own.

DUDE.

Why have I never tried to do this? We have people here from all different worlds and universes. People with powers and abilities that make them more powerful and durable than any human could be (except Sam Elliot. I swear that fucker never ages).

So why the fuck haven't I created a bad-ass, superpowered version of football?
