Who: Duck and Merlin Where: Hogwarts When: Now What: Duck's return (and update) Rating: Probably not too high
It had been several months since he'd found himself back in his own world, dealing with the tensions between Earth and Sylvain, and the Abominations once again. Long enough that his time in another world, with a boyfriend and kids, started to seem like a dream. But he'd refused to let go of it, even so.
So much had happened, and then stopped happening. He was settling into a normal life again. Volunteering with the reforestation efforts in Brazil with Juno and Minerva. It was pretty good, being just Duck again. Albeit, of course, with some of Minerva's powers still shared between them. Not gonna lie, he liked being able to take a hit without feeling it much.
He was walking back to the station, mind wandering, when he suddenly realized it seemed a lot colder. He looked up. This... wasn't the rain forest. This was...
Oh, hell. That was the welcome center.
Without thinking he took off running. He knew the streets and knew exactly where he was going. The supernatural endurance was pretty great, too. He'd have hated to have stopped for a train or something. Not when he could just run straight there.
Soon he was bounding up the stairs of Hogwarts without pause, assuming that whatever wards or security was still trained to let him pass. And once inside he made his way straight to the Headmaster's office and barged in without knocking. There was nothing in his mind but needing to see Merlin again. He didn't stop to see if anyone was there with him, he just went over to the man and pulled him into a desperate kiss.
