Another Samhain come and gone, and still no Eric for me. Sigh.

The party was crazy as expected, at least. I'm fairly certain Queen Bea caught her own hair on fire at one point.

I finally thought I had my life together, and boom, welcome to another planet. Story of my life. Hello all. I'm Sloane and I'm new here if that weren't obvious.

I have been here a while now, and just realized I have stopped writing. Not only have I not written in a while, but I have stopped dating also. I have not met a single eligible bachelor since living here. It makes me think that dating in the city was actually not as difficult as it seemed to be since dating on another planet is even more difficult.

On the very bright side, I have made some amazing friends here who make me miss Mouse, Walt, and Maggie, even Dorrit, a lot less.

So I am giving an NYC shoutout to Amy, Ally, Miranda, and Audrey! Love you, girls!

This week, the show opened with a dramatic montage of all the remaining vocalists preparing for this week's performances, with a voiceover from Benjamin Bale explaining that one of these people will win the right to be Full Moon Entertainment's next superstar.

After the show's opening, Ben once again welcomed all the viewers, explaining the rules and reminding them who was left. He then again introduced the four judges, starting with Kyle, then moving to Kayla... before panning over to Rachelle hanging a little sign in front of where Meredith sat, that had a cartoonish crab on it and said "Crabs Live Here". Sigh. Keep it classy, Rachelle.

Oh, to be on Earth right now. In New England, specifically.

Hope you enjoyed your Super Bowls, bitches. Cos it's time to go back to the Doug Flutie days.

I think Halloween might be my favorite holiday ever!

I have seriously gotta start building myself a circle of friends. I'm 20 years old and yet I'm sitting here bored out of my skull.

So, a lot of people have been coming up to me to tell me how mad they are that I got voted off of Idol so early. Look... I'm flattered. I really, truly am. I feel blessed that people enjoyed it.

But don't be angry about it. I'll be just fine. I'm still going to pursue a career in music, I have a gorgeous, amazing girlfriend, and I have a wonderful soon-to-be daughter that makes me feel more important than any TV show could.

Meanwhile, just keep on supporting the people that are still on the show. They're all such wonderful people and fantastic singers, I can't wait to see who wins!

I don't know what number day it is, but I know yesterday was Halloween. Me and Jenny went to a party. So at least no one can say I didn't get out. Yay?

But seriously, I'm not really generally one for parties. The whole "being around people I don't know" thing and being socially inept tends to cause that. But there was something... different about this party. With my friends being who they are, and with me working where I work, people knew my name. In a good way! Instead of saying "hey, you're that chick everyone hates, therefore I hate you too, go fuck yourself," they said "hey, you're so-and-so's weird friend. Nice to see you! Cool costume! What are you supposed to be?"

And I tell them "I'm supposed to be a creepy jar of Hell-Mann's mayonnaise. You could say I'm... A-HEAD... of the game." then they actually laugh.

I can get used to it being like this. I really can. I'm glad I'm here, because now people can take me as I am and not as they want me to be.
