I've been told this place has a military force.

Do they need someone to work Admin, tech support, or even in R&D? I've been in combat for most of my military career, but I've had to deal in all sorts of areas not related to being on the front line.

Also, I've another three..perhaps four months of recovery and physical therapy before I could even consider myself ready to go on the proverbial field again.

Some advice for whenever we get back home; retire after your contract is up, and take advantage of the GI bill to go to university.

3 more weeks until Malcolm turns 5. Now I am also halfway through my pregnancy as well. 20 weeks. I found out the gender, too. Back home we could not do that yet, but now I know I am having a girl. I am happy for Malcolm to have a little sister. He is doing much better here away from his father, too.

Hmm, this is strange. I have realized that I could walk around outside since I got here but I also like it. I can even go to the beach again. Not that I was ever a beach person, but it is nice to have options again.

I'm glad that Graham is finally taking some time off. He's beginning to burn himself out and there's really nothing too bad going on in this town. That is why I will be available on call and will be in the office during the day. On September 1st, my life here changed forever.

I woke up to my wife gone and our newborn son laying in her place. Avery and I have had a rough year of teething, bumps, scrapes, Aves returning, Aves leaving, "no!", and crying ( both of us ) but we've also had a lot of great things happen too and that's what I plan on focusing on that day.

The 1st is a Sunday. I'd like to invite everyone with children and those that want to celebrate Avery to join us at his Teddy Bear Picnic birthday party in Freedontown Park starting at 1 pm.

Grab a teddy and come join us. There will be food, games, and water toys. Turning one is beary fun, after all!

Kinda loving this place already... XMH is the most amazing hospital I've ever worked in, my coworkers are fantastic, and not only do we have a killer sports bar right by it, but we had cupcakes delivered this morning that made my sweet tooth feel the way I can only imagine someone feels after mind-blowing sex.

Wow. Ok. Yeah. So this is kinda crazy. I know I can't be the only one thinking it.

Anyway, now that I've had a full night to lose my freakin' mind and scream at my friends process this, I'm gonna try to go with the flow here.

So, I'm George O'Malley. I was a surgical resident at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital, and had just signed up for active military duty when I, well... when this happened.
