Ah, it's good to see that even on another planet, people have no concept of what's appropriate to say to a total stranger.

So, I went to check out Twin Peaks today (can you blame me? Honestly?), and on the tram coming back, some girl I've literally never seen before in my life came up to me, giggling, and told me how "hot" she thinks my dad is.

Ok, awkward much? Still, I could've smiled and ignored it and went about my day.

But then the zinger. She says "You're adopted, right? So wouldn't you agree he's hot?"

WHAT. THE. HECKIN'. HECK.

Dude. Birth, adopted, who cares? That's still my freakin' dad.

If this is what being related to a celebrity is like, I think I miss when he was just a Watcher.

I don't get mad too often, but I have to admit, this place just gave me first official emotional ass-kicking, and I'm not real happy about it.

I can't believe I'm already starting to fit into my pre-pregnancy sized jeans.

If spending the last two weeks binging Hallmark's Christmas In July movies with my mom is wrong? Then no part of me wants to be remotely right.

Still, 14 days of back to back sappy Christmas movies is enough for both of us, so now I'm looking to find something else to do.
