My bestie Lita might not be here anymore... but dammit, she loved having a big Pride party every year, so I'm keeping her tradition alive.

Next Thursday, 8pm, the top of Stark Tower in Freedomtown. We're gonna call it Young Pride 2021, and it's a special party for anyone between 16-23. Obviously no booze will be involved, but we'll have good music, good food, and TONS of fun. Let me know if you're interested, because depending on how many people RSVP, we might need to cap it.

I must say, I'm pretty pleased with myself. I got a job, I'm enrolled for next semester in one of the colleges here, and I have a place of my own (that I will pay you back for ASAP, Mom).

Not bad for only being here a month or two.

The last thing I expected when getting flipped the bird by a truck driver was to end up in space. Now I'm really not going to find my brother.

Rating: I can't imagine that it'd be very high

After messaging Ann on the network Matt decided that it was time to get out more. He'd sought advice from Wade of all people about being set up on a blind date (after having all but decided to sign up anyway) and was glad that he had. Otherwise he wouldn't be meeting Claire right now. While he could follow the dialogue of a movie well enough he'd rather focus his attention on her, which was why he suggested that they meet at the beach for dancing instead. While technically blind he could still get around better than most. He waited for her near the party entrance, dressed in jeans, a collared shirt and a blazer with his tinted glasses perched on his nose and his walking stick stretched out in front of him. He'd likely fold it up once she found her way to him but nothing screamed 'blind guy' like a walking stick, right? He smiled amusedly at the thought.

She'd told him that she was new to Galador so at the very least he hoped to introduce her to new people. He knew what it felt like to be alone and wouldn't wish that on anyone.

He really wished that Foggy was here.

Hi Claire. My name's Matt. I work as a defense attorney out of Freedomtown (although not many people need defending these days).

In the interest of full disclosure I should tell you that I'm blind, but that doesn't stop me from getting around. Which is why I'd like to suggest dancing and music, if you'd feel up to it. It's okay if you don't.

The people and the material at the Welcome Center are very informative. Honestly, I'm just glad to be off that island and not have that virus in me that could cause me to mutate at any time.
