I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith.
Christmas used to be this thing... this really amazing day that felt like nothing could go wrong. And then I temporarily lost some people. Then permanently. And I just kind of figured the Christmas spirit was gone forever at least as far as I was concerned.
So I guess I just want to say thanks to the people here who've reminded me it's not.
This has been the best Christmas I've ever had. Thank you to everyone for the gifts.
To whoever sent the stone, I don't know how you knew, but it's perfect?
Oh...also? I got a letter from Columbia before Christmas; it's a big envelope. Big means good, right? I haven't opened it yet. But I probably should since the Spring Semester starts soon.
I'm still in shock that I got 3rd on the sweater contest. I was so set on not participating until Max talked me into it. Amazingly, it didn't take long to find a sweater that was perfect for me.
