Hello, My name is Alex Manes. I've been here a couple months now and have kept to myself mostly, except for the few times my friends have pulled me to some event.

Anyway, the holidays can be a hard time for some people and I wanted to start a group, not just for combat vets, but for anyone that has suffered a tragedy in their life. A safe place where we can talk or listen. One of the conference rooms should work nicely. I'm thinking Thursday nights might work. What do you guys think?

What's a girl to do when she's given a random half day off? Suggestions? I'm a workaholic that doesn't know what to do with herself.

Hey, hey, Pete and I are back with new national days. Or, in this case, national day. Since December is packed with holidays, we decided to just celebrate one day this time. It is a good one too.

I am really starting to hate this place.

I wouldn't have minded being seventeen for a little while longer.

The Pre Rosa Liz that I turned into was so carefree, optimistic, earnestly religious, in awe of everything, experiencing the joys of being in love for the first time. It was so refreshing and the opposite of how I am now. I'm so glad I can remember everything because I finally got my summer adventure with Max.

And now back to work because I have projects that have been sitting unattended for way too long.

It's so dark in here. I can't find Liz. Max is gone.

I keep seeing my mom, the prison, everyone I love dying in there. Including you. I lied. When I said I didn't love you. I do. I do and it hurts. It hurts, Alex, and it makes me feel alive. Except now I don't feel alive. I feel like I'm dying and I can't die without telling you...I love you. I've loved you from the moment I first saw you. I've been in love with you since that night at the museum ten years ago. I'm...sorry. For everything, for being weak, for not realizing you were everything that made sense.
