In unrelated news, I finally managed to open a small shop. Selling something out of a building is a shem tradition I still don't understand but I suppose it means I would be less affected by crappy weather than if I had a market stall. Dalish Delights can be found [location], selling goods made in the traditional styles of my people, as well as herbal remedies. Amongst other things.

Well this is neither Thedas or the Fade and excuse me if I'm a little wary about trusting "the entity" but based on previous experience it would be highly idiotic of me to go on blind faith alone.

I was never well known for my patience either.

Well, that was an interesting few days. Do things like that happen often here?

I'm relieved that even though I am not in Thedas anymore, my connection to the Fade is still there. As long as I can still reach the Fade, there's hope that it hasn't been destroyed.

Note to self: next time someone approaches who appears to be wise and all-knowing and definitely kind of a jerk about your people, don't fall for his shit.

That being said, my friend Varric is introducing me to all the food and modern conveniences here, but I'd like some suggestions of things to try.
