Goodland's not so bad. Mr. Jones brought me and Juggie to see the sloths. I wanted to bring them all home, but he said that they weren't a very good pet for the baby to be around. I just hope the baby isn't mean like Polly is. I don't want to go back to Riverdale ever.

In my time, books are pretty much all electronic. You can find an actual hard copy in antique shops but it's not that easy. Despite the fact that there is a huge collection available in the Enterprise library, there's nothing I love more than an actual book in my hands, the way they feel, the way they smell, I can't describe it.
When I graduated from nursing school, my parents gave me a first edition copy of Florence Nightingale's Notes On Nursing: What It Is and What It Is Not. My mother wrote an inscription inside and it means the world to me. I never thought I'd see it again but yesterdday morning, it turned up in front of my bedroom door.
Thank you to whoever is responsible for this, I am so happy to have it with me.
