Oh, and just in case anyone didn't know or was in doubt. Avengers got moves and wish you a Merry Christmas. Do yourself a favor and watch in full screen. The rest of you probably have great moves too; I could only fit five.

And to stay on brand: yes, I am stocked up for the season, thank you. And maybe enough to get me halfway to Easter.

So I know we're all gearing up for Christmas right now, BUT.

New Year's.

It's the biggest party night of the year! What are we planning? I'm going to put my tiny partners in crime (Cassie, Claudia, Jubilee, that's you, FYI) to work on something for the Under 21s, but the big kids deserve a champagne toast and ball drop? It's fake New York City, we have to have the ball drop!

We have T-Minus 5 DAYS until my birthday. So, for my birthday, I'd like to kindly ask that you not pull anymore heinous actions and other bullshit nonsense for a while. At least six months. I'll plant you a tree or something, cool? Cool.

The last big Thanksgiving dinner I had seems like ages ago. Decades. Centuries. (Cue the most epic Kate Bishop Trademarked dramatic music here, okay?)

I've watched the Thanksgiving Day Parade from so many different places. Seen the tree lighting in Rockefeller. Gone ice skating mostly on my butt. You walk around the city now, though, and there's a layer of something missing. A distinct lack of gross hot dog water, bitter sidewalk coffee, and hundreds of expensive perfumes spilling out of the department stores.

Now, all I want is a pretzel from the carts that littered the corners of Midtown followed by tacos from the taco truck in Santa Monica.

Gonna take Lucky for a walk and pin down a peppermint mocha instead. 💜

Is it just me or are the years getting shorter? I can't believe it's November already and Turkey Day is next week. No, I will not be cooking so don't worry, I won't be burning anything down. I decorate, I eat and I clean, that's my Thanksgiving.

My birthday was last week and I honestly have no idea how old I am. I kind of lost track when I came here and then with everything I learned, I just quit counting so I'm just going to consider myself ageless and be done with it.

It’s kind of weird to think I’ve been here for 8 months now. Good-weird, I think. Everything is so different from home, but that’s not really a bad thing. Sometimes I think I’m getting used to it and other times I don’t think I ever will.

Either way, I’m thankful to be here.

I do not like these trees. I have nothing against sentient trees, after all I have Baby Groot but these are evil. He assumes they are family and tries to talk but they are mean to him and try to hurt them. If they do it again, they will meet the steel of my blade.
