This has been the best Christmas I've ever had. Thank you to everyone for the gifts.

Oh...also? I got a letter from Columbia before Christmas; it's a big envelope. Big means good, right? I haven't opened it yet. But I probably should since the Spring Semester starts soon.

Back home I had started taking jiu jitsu for self defense, and in Goodland I was going to a class, but with this place changing almost every month, I think it might be better if I just look for a one-on-one teacher.


So, all that to say: is there anyone here who could continue training me? I picked up a part time job at a coffee shop, so I can pay.

Really appreciating the locations and a generous host right about now.

Well, shit. I lost the tiny bolt for my voodoo doll's crossbow. I didn't think it actually fired so that is kind of cool. Now I'm going to have to ransack my own room.

I don't even know what to say about the Gilbert journals. Do I share that information?

My doll is SO COOL! THANK YOU! It makes me miss my kind of want to start a cool Spider-Man doll/action figure collection now! He will be the first, and he will rule over the rest. But he will be a kind and benevolent leader. He may also play with the LEGO collection and may or may not be situated among them right now.

And why are there only 10 days left until Christmas? Why did it sneak up so fast? Does anyone else find it a little strange, but not necessarily bad, to be celebrating it in an alternate dimension? Just me? Okay. Cool. I have way too much left to do! Would people be upset if they happened to get beignet mix for Christmas? Asking for a friend. >.>

I'm curious. How do others celebrate the holidays? They don't have to specifically be earth holidays or the ones that traditionally come around this time of year. Any holiday is included in this. And if you celebrate a holiday from a world other than earth (or a different holiday but you're primarily earth based), what is it, and how do you celebrate it?

Hello Goodland! It's that time again to see what days Tony and I picked for November!

November is that curious month between October and December, between Halloween and all the December holidays. It's that weird transitional phase between Halloween and Christmas store wise, where it's like, "Do I decorate for fall, or do I say forget it, and just throw up all my Christmas decorations by the second week of November and pretend I'm Disney World?" Personally, I don't think there's a right or wrong answer. But I do think having things to look forward to and things to do between Big Holidays People Might Celebrate is fun.

So without further ado, I present to you Fun Days for November by Peter Parker and Tony Stark!

So about that fire alarm? Just a mishap in the kitchen! Nothing's burned down! Nothing to worry about! Just a little too much smoke in the kitchen. Nothing to worry about! Sorry for any inconveniences!

In other news, Tony and I made cookies for Homemade Cookie Day! Tony did really well for his first time baking. Only one batch got a little too baked, but that's why you do test batches first. And this is how you learn. And how you learn the difference between baking powder and baking soda and little t versus big T. And that butter temperature is important. Really, it's just kitchen chemistry. And it's a great distraction from the whole maze And there are now lots more cookies. Win/win!

Overall, Homemade Cookie Day was a success for Tony and me! :D

I need a female and a male, between five foot six and six foot (male can be a little bit taller), willing to let me dress them up for a good few hours over the next month for my class. I have money for the clothes, so you don't have to do anything but be willing to let me dress you, put on make up, do your hair and take pictures for my portfolio.

I'll buy you coffee and food for your time and you might get to keep the clothes.
