I think most of us aren't exactly used to being responsible for the safety and well-being of a kid and I thought we could use... not a support group, exactly, but maybe we could get together now and then to talk about how things are going, share advice or just, you know, enjoy a little adult time. Dinner, drinks, whatever.

I've also seen some people ask about school - do we actually have an answer for that? Do we homeschool them or send them to whatever public school Goodland has? They're obviously without transcripts and all of that here, but I would imagine our Entity has a way around that. Or I would hope so.

Well, I didn't mentioned it before. But, I have a job. I've been made Assistant Manager of a rare book shop. Apparently owning one counted as enough experience.

Hello wonderful people of Goodland, I have a few things to ask you now that I have fully worked out the functioning of this device.

I am assuming we will need a job in order to survive. I've never had a proper job in my life though I did moonlight as a Private Detective back home. I have otherwise got training as a Field Medic from my time in an ambulance brigade during the Great War though that was a hundred years ago (I admit I am still wrapping my mind around this) I imagine much that I know is out dated here.

Unfortunately my gun did not come with me nor the luggage that was in the plane with my father and I so I am looking to replace that as well.

Now finally, tell me does anyone throw a good party around here?

I actually missed the medical side of my training. I've been so involved in biochem and biotechnology that aside from patching my team up I didn't get to do much.

I'm thinking that's what I might focus on here and help with the other stuff if my expertise is needed.

Any ideas on where?
