Hello wonderful people of Goodland, I have a few things to ask you now that I have fully worked out the functioning of this device.

I am assuming we will need a job in order to survive. I've never had a proper job in my life though I did moonlight as a Private Detective back home. I have otherwise got training as a Field Medic from my time in an ambulance brigade during the Great War though that was a hundred years ago (I admit I am still wrapping my mind around this) I imagine much that I know is out dated here.

Unfortunately my gun did not come with me nor the luggage that was in the plane with my father and I so I am looking to replace that as well.

Now finally, tell me does anyone throw a good party around here?

That's a question I really should have asked earlier.

Which question is that? I asked a lot in my post.

The one about the parties. July 4th wasn't bad for a celebration of gross imperialism, but that was Tony and he seems a little busy to be throwing parties every week.

Something with a lot of dancing, alcohol and music is the sort of party I enjoy. Though something like Mr Stark threw is acceptable.

Sounds like my scene as well. Though possibly it's usually slightly different music and dancing.

Quite likely with what I have seen. No one seems to truly know the dances or music I'm familiar with any longer.

I might have done some of the dances before, but it wouldn't be something I'd have had much opportunity for.

What ones do you think you are familiar with?

It always feels like the twenties and thirties mix together a bit for dances since they didn't become popular at the same times in different places, but I know the Charleston, Lindy Hop and Fox-Trot. I think the later swing dance trends are more popular in vintage dance circles these days. People like their flapper theme parties but not the period authentic dances as much.

I admit I am grateful that someone else is familiar with them. Do you perhaps know where I might find one of these dance circles or parties?

You might find that it's more difficult to obtain a gun these days.

Legally, you'll need to apply for a permit before purchase.

What are the requirements for these permits?

You’d contact the police department to apply, and they would supply you with the necessary forms. Then the police would conduct a thorough background check for criminal and mental health records.

You also need four unrelated individuals willing to attest to your good character.

Thank you for the advice. That is unfortunately too complicated a process for now but I shall keep it in mind for the future.
