Well, the 1920s were interesting, but I'm glad to be back in modern times. Now it's time to go spend all day playing Untitled Goose Game.

I think I need to hunt for a parttime job here. Maybe work at a burger joint or something, I guess. Keep me busy.

I've been thinking about changing my track from Pre-med to something more immediately helpful. Like Nursing. You said it yourself, Dr. Sam, the Clinic is pretty understaffed and I could become an RN quicker than I could become a Dr.

I'm not helping anyone right now by learning Organic Chemistry--- and who knows how long we'll even be here with all the people running around.


I just thought I would weigh the opinions of those who have the experience.

I didn't mind the time shift that much, it's slightly better than the last time I got launched into the past -there's always a war when an Avenger time travels. I will miss the air calmness from back then.

But boy did I miss my hairdryer. Let me tell you, drying your hair with energy is very risky.

If it's not interrupting any of your other worldly plans, I'd be happy to volunteer to step in to fill the gaps for now.

I bypassed (most of) the clothing and went for the jewelry and antiques. It's amazing the things people in 1920 think are fusty and out of fashion.

Desk tidy in blue leather and fabric lining, hallmarked 1892. (Related: someone should bring back name cards. So much nicer than just typing your number into someone's phone.)

And this may have been a little much considering I think it's literally taller than Sam is, but... I couldn't resist. Those doors have Shibayama raised inlays which is a Japanese style, but it's actually French. I absolutely love it.

Kriff, I honestly thought my kidnapping days were behind me, but it's unlikely my captives would actually want me to communicate with people, so color me clueless. Oh wait, my hair's too kriffing red for that.
