I'm relieved that even though I am not in Thedas anymore, my connection to the Fade is still there. As long as I can still reach the Fade, there's hope that it hasn't been destroyed.

Note to self: next time someone approaches who appears to be wise and all-knowing and definitely kind of a jerk about your people, don't fall for his shit.

That being said, my friend Varric is introducing me to all the food and modern conveniences here, but I'd like some suggestions of things to try.

I'll have you know that my vocabulary is rich with curses. That's just the one that is the best fitting for that egg-head. But I wouldn't say no to learning new ones.

I'm not sure they have much use for Everite in this place, everything seems to be made of some kind of iron.

I'm going to try video games and trampolining.

Have you tried pizza? Burgers? Milkshakes? Also, massage chairs, I dunno if they have rollercoasters around here but there's an arcade and trampolines.

I have tried burgers, they're better than anything I could ever have imagined being done with meat and bread. If I ever end up going back to Thedas, I am going to change the culinary landscape forever.

I don't know what any of those other things are.

Pizza's food like burgers. Hot dogs are good, but more just snack stuff. You really need to try donuts and crullers. And soft pretzels.

The arcade is full of video games and show games? It's pretty fun. There's an area to like win tickets and claim prizes. And trampolining is where you bounce on a mat over a pit that springs so that you can get thrown in the sky. It's pretty fun.

Hot...dogs? Not literal dogs, I hope. I will add donuts to my list of things to try.

What are video games? Trampolining sounds like it might be fun, I'm used to pits being dangerous and filled with demons or darkspawn so something enjoyable would make a nice change.

Oh, no demons or darkspawn at the trampolining place, no way. Video games are like virtual reality? You know like seeing stuff in the TV? Well you can control stuff. I'm BOSS at Mario and Pacman.

Yes, that's a TV. It's got like moving pictures inside that tell a story. It's pretty fun. Mario and Pacman are games, I don't think I should be in charge of anyone. But I will happily show you video games.
