Religious holidays still feel sort of... weird.

I did enjoy celebrating Thanksgiving this year, that was my first one in many years. The welcome I have received here has been heartwarming, and I am incredibly grateful for it. I hope you all are stuffed well and in good spirits today, even if you may not be completely surrounded by the whole of your loved ones from home.

Thanksgiving is my favourite holiday and then you wake up the next day and Christmas is soon so you don't even have to be sad it's over.

I'm going to do that thing where people forgo their surnames because, well, it seems to make sense.
